By way of revealing a bit of yourselves, name 5 items currently in your purse, wallet, or pocket.
In my purse, I have...
1. Sharpie Markers for signing my cast
2. an orthodontist appointment card for my daughter
3. an article clipped of the paper about the "rusty crayfish" to show my friend in a local band by the name "The Crayfish"
4. a police officer's card with the case number on it to report my daughter's stolen bicycle
5. "Pink Bamboo" lipstick

AM,
"What do you have in your wallet ?" was actually my spoof on Capital One. But I'll agree with you on one thing - what is in your wallet or in your purse can reveal in part at least something about you.
Right now the only thing I have in my wallet (pocket) is my appointment with destiney -- i.e., Nov. 9 4-7 PM at Hops and Vines. Hopefully, I'll both see you and Money Girl there !!!!
In my purse I have the following:
1) Palm Pilot
2) Cell Phone
3) Numerous pens
4) Flu Shot schedule for Safeway
5) Staples receipt
Not much since I just cleaned it out a couple of days ago. I don't think this reveals too much about me except that I guess I'm probably a little organized.
are you going to see the Crayfish on 11/3? if you need a ride, we'll gladly pick you up.
Money Girl,
Since you don't carry money in your purse, you are wise too.
The Palm Pilot and Cell say to me that you are tech savy. Of course to those of you who are in the investment world - it truly is your lifeline.
I have not had my flu shot yet either, but I always wait to see what strain breaks out first.
( that strategy always works unless of course you are the index patient ).
Pens can often reveal where one has recently traveled.
The Staples receipt and in being organized are true business attributes.
Actually I have more in my pocket and wallet than I have revealed, but it is only that appointment with destiney right now, is all that really matters.
Mike, you crack me up!
I am planning on going to the Crayfish on the 3rd. I will be arriving after I attend Changing Focus Dinner/Dance in Millersville.
I'm counting on my leg doing a quick recovery! I'll see you there (if not sooner.)
Money Girl is WAY more organized and tech savvy than I!
AM,
I have heard of the "Crayfish", but just exactly where are they playing on Nov 3 ?
From your message it is obviously not the same place as the Changing Focus Dinner Dance in Millersville ? ( So far I Can't go - as I don't have a tickie )
"Just Me" has offered us all a ride and Money Girl can get us there with the GPS feature on her Palm Pilot --- What a Hoot of an Evening - All we'll need is Zydeco-Joe on de scratcher and sum um dem craw dadies wid dat wheezianna hot sauce --- ouuu wheee !!!!
mike, you are very funny - I was actually only offering AM a ride, as I am assuming she will still be unable to drive. The Crayfish are playing at TJ Elliott's in Bowie - they usually start at about 9:30 and it cost a whole $5 cover charge... can you handle it?
Hey Just Me,
$5 is chump change, I could probably muster that up very easily even before Money Girl empties her purse. HA!!!!!
I'd also offer you a ride even though your invitation was for AM only. ( I'll get over it, although my feelings were hurt )
Are the Crayfish from Nawlins ? or Wheezinana ? or de Bayou ? ouuuu
wheeee !!! guess it dun reely matta
I'm not sure how they came up with the name Crayfish - their front man is actually from Texas, and there's at least one native Bowieite in the band. My daughter calls them the "Grayfish" because according to her "they're old guys playing rock n roll." (That is, they're her parents' age)
Hey Just Me,
When you wrote to AM you said We'll pick you up ( which means you plus someone else ). Is that your daughter who thinks us folks are just all old and gray ?
Now I thought we were just one big ole' happy family here. I just happen to be a 30 year old stuck in a 40 year old's body but I can still outdance someone 1/2 my age. So AM, Money Girl and Just Me wit de mystry rider round us-up dat der table for a night of toe tappin / foot stompin fun ouuuuuuu wheeeee !!!!!!
