Super Bowl

What are you guys doing for the big game?

I have had parties in years past - strictly for those who don't love football. We have fun and pay attention to the commercials, sometimes following the game.

This year my son is sick. He's sad to not be able to attend the two or three parties we could have attended. I'm going to watch the game with him. That's cool though. We'll have some bonding time.

How about if you post your reaction to the game or the commercials or the half-time show here? We'll have an e-superbowl party.

My favorite commercials were from E-Trade with the talking baby. Especially the first one where he spits up. Too funny!

I only saw the second half - but the horse race with 7'1" Shaquille O'Neal as a jockey was funny to my daughter and I.

I liked the baby trader too. The Doritos commercial with the mouse trap was fun. The "follow your heart" one was a little creepy.

AM, I am real perplexed by the latest poll. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Super Bowl or commercials/advertising featured thereon.

As far as the question to date someone 15 years older or 15 years younger. I don't think there is a double standard anymore. Just look at all the female teachers having affairs with their male students. Youthful females, on the other hand are not interested in middle-older aged men unless they are either weathy ( suggar daddies ) or else otherwise very well preserved for their age, e.g., something like a Pierce Brosnan.

I'd really like to hear what others think about this. I have often heard stories of married men leaving their wives for younger women, but most of these men are usually very sucessful, financially speaking.

I liked the Budweiser commercial with the Dalmatian as the coach for the Clydesdale too. It was really cute for a beer commercial.

The first three quarters were SO dull - I kept going in and out, it was so boring. But the fourth quarter made up for it in excitement.

My poor daughter, the Patriot fan surrounded (mostly) by Giant fans, retreated upstairs to watch the end of the game. She was crying at the end.

Sorry you could not join us - but I understand completely.

Mike, I'm getting to that. I just thought I watch the general opinion file in first.

Did you see the Will Ferrell Budweiser commercial? When he said that part about a lot of sweat going into every bottle, I thought, "Hey, I'm surprised they let that one slip by!"

AM,

Yeah I saw that Will Ferrell commercial. Bud always does the best ads. I like the other one with the hot date out where the guy blows the candles on fire and the gal just melts in her seat.

Just remember beer does not make you smart but it did make Bud wizer.
