I just noticed that I spelled it wrong. Does spelling count? I hope not. I guess I shouldn't try to do five different things at once. Hugh

Woo Hoo! We have a new winner! And we are not particular about spelling.

Precarious Girl, I will be happy to give you your prize at tomorrow night's Happy Hour. Of course, then you will have to identify yourself to me. Otherwise, I will need you to send me your contact information via e-mail.

Sorry Money Girl. I'll meet you at Damon's bar soon for a beer.

AM

You tricked me this time by putting the new pic on the blog after 5PM ( when I was out and about as opposed to being on my computer) I will humbly conceed to precariousgirl ( who has obviously been watching too many of the OMEN movies to come up with Daamion's as opposed to Damon's )

Also my hats off to Moneypenny for the correction on the correct answer. She obviously did not miss her Que (pun intended)

Thank you! I will try to make it to happy hour tonight to pick up the gift certificate. It will probably be around 6 though.

Hey Precariousgirl,

We never told you about being inducted into the barstool identifiers hall of fame. Tradition always holds that he new identifier always takes the standing identifier out for a victory drink and then our MC, AM takes a "Mug shot"

Sure wish I was there tonight for the door prizes -- guess I'll be getting all unhinged over that---- Sigh !!!!!

Some more etymology wisdom:

What's in that places'name for example, In one instance the National Geographic transcription refers to Judas as a “daimon,” which the society’s experts have translated as “spirit.” Actually, the universally accepted word for “spirit” is “pneuma ” — in Gnostic literature “daimon” is always taken to mean “demon.” and then of course there is Damon and Damion or Daamion --- Wow we had one wicked time with this one !!!!!

Mike,

Yes. I have heard before that Damion is another meaning for Demon or devil.

Damion is actually my dog's name which I probably typed it wrong subconsciously.

Unfortantly for my Dog at the time I named him 5 years ago I was unaware that I was calling my dog the devil.

On his behalf he is actually the sweetest, most loving, emotional dog that I know, but I think that he gets that from taking after his owner :-)

They have these cigars called Diablo's ( yet another name for the devil ).

I probably know why they do that - cause when you smoke them they leave a "devil" of smell behind.

which is not true of a fine Cuban or Honduran -- which is why I made the pitch for AVOs.

PCGirl: If you are a Marine you are a "devil dog" but it sounds to me like your dog "Damion" is in actuality "angel food cake". Its nice to know that there are sweet, loving and emotionally well adjusted dogs that take after their owners ( not literally, but figuratively ) ----- Sigh !!!!!!!!!
