AM,
I'll gladly forfeit this win in favor of the Blind Date Contest.
I know my barstools, but I sure don't know who the local female celebrity is I would get to meet ?
The whole point of a blind date contest is NOT to know who you are meeting prior to the date, right? We are not using celebrities. This contest is open to men and women. I and a team of matchmakers will consider all the applications and see if we sense a good match between two of them. We may make a regular feature of the contest depending on the response. I have been receiving some intriguing applications. Should be fun no matter who wins.
AM,
Thanks for the update on the Blind Date Contest. I was under the impression that whoever completed an application would be meeting a "local celebrity" of the opposite gender. Now it seems if its between the respective applicant's. Im OK with that provided that you are making the match " I am confident that you would know who would be my type " and I'd be willing to bet you are very good at that.
